Unfog: Travel Tracker & Map ("Unfog," "we," "our," or "the app") is developed and operated by Merve Tuncer Ozer, an independent app developer based in the United Kingdom and working under the name MT Studio.
These terms are an agreement between you and us about how Unfog may be used. By creating an account or using the app, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use Unfog.
How we handle your information is covered separately in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Unfog lets you upload photographs and choose a public username. You must not use either to post or share anything that:
You also agree not to interfere with the app itself: no attempting to access other people's data, no automated scraping, no submitting false information to gain an advantage on the leaderboard, and no attempting to bypass the app to write data our systems would otherwise reject.
Your username is shown to other users on the leaderboard and in friend search, so it is subject to these rules. New and changed usernames are checked against a list of disallowed terms, and names that could be mistaken for Unfog or its staff are reserved. We may reclaim or change a username that breaks these terms.
You can report any user or photo from inside the app, and you can block any user at any time. Reports are read by us, and the person reported is not told who reported them.
Where content or behaviour breaks these terms, we may remove the content, reclaim a username, suspend an account, or delete an account permanently. We aim to act on reports promptly. We may act without prior notice where the content is seriously harmful.

Your photographs and travel records remain yours. We do not claim ownership of them, and we do not use them for advertising or sell them.
You give us permission to store your content and to show it to the people the app is designed to show it to — which, for photographs and named places, means friends you have accepted. That permission exists only so the app can function, and it ends when you delete the content or your account.
You confirm that you have the right to upload what you upload.
Unfog is provided as it is. We do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, or free of errors, and we may change or discontinue features.
Travel data in the app — country information, landmark locations, images and rarity scores — is provided for entertainment. It may be incomplete or wrong, and should not be relied on for travel planning, navigation, or any decision that matters.
Please keep your own copies of photographs that matter to you. We take care with your data, but no service can promise never to lose anything.
You can delete your account at any time from profile settings. This permanently removes your profile, travel data and photographs, as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Unfog, or for loss of data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep all the rights the law gives you.
We may update these terms. Changes are posted on this page with a new effective date, and continuing to use Unfog after that means you accept them.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the protections of the mandatory laws of the country you live in.
